​​​COLLEEN HELLER  has been practicing the art of mehndi since 2000.   She first was introduced to the henna on Hilton Head Island in 1996, and soon after, moved to Edison, NJ where she improved her skills after visiting many of the shops in the Little India section of nearby Iselin, NJ.  2023 marks her 18th full-time season in the Richmond area!  

Her specialty is freehand application using henna paste she makes herself using the freshest, highest quality ingredients possible.  She enjoys the traditional Indian and Arabic designs as well as the flowing, flowery designs of the UK Style.  

She is an Internationally Certified Artist of Natural Henna Arts and a member of the Face Painting and Body Art Association.  She is also a mother of two, and a multi-instrumentalist and retired music teacher.

She was a regular vendor with GrowRVA's South of the James Market in Forest Hill Park for 14 years!
