:So Pleased!!! By lovieaj8  I had Colleen do a couple of henna designs for me for my birthday which was about two weeks ago and I walked away happier than ever. She is a truly talented artist (that did all of the designs free-hand) and a wonderful person. She is very professional and will educate on the whole process, I have had henna before but not like what I experienced with Colleen...the henna is freshly made by her daily and has a wonderful fragrance to it.....which made it even better. I have already told many of my friends about her and now I am sharing some with you......If you are looking for a henna artist look no further, her name is Colleen Heller and she is totally awesome!!!!!!!

Fantastic! By Jannaya : I have had Colleen do a temporary tattoo on my lower back as well as two different henna applications on my hand. She is excellent at what she does. She is very artistic and experienced, as well as friendly and accomodating. I needed the temporary tattoo for a special occasion so she fit me in the same day! The henna designs she did on my hand caught the attention of everyone everywhere I went. People kept asking me for her number because they were so impressed. I had to call Colleen and ask her for some of her business cards to give out so I didnt' have to keep writing down the information for people!!

Excellent artwork, very friendly and... By Jordan Reiter: We had her do the henna at a party for our wedding. Several people received henna tattoos. She made her own dyes from scratch from henna (NOT black henna of course!) and essential oils. The henna actually smelled wonderful. The designs were well drawn and included free-hand designs as well as designs we had requested before hand (she pre-drew custom stencils to be used that day). Overall, a very enjoyable experience. She was very patient and very clearly explained all of the ingredients she was using and what they were for. Highly recommended, definitely hire her for your own event, and don't be afraid to ask for custom designs.

Really great quality henna work By jeanmarie -The quality of her henna is very good - I have sensitive skin, and have never had any reaction to her henna. I love her hands and feet work, and have found that her work lasts weeks! Love to see her at the South of the James market, and she always has a good crowd, so I'm not the only one who loves her work!!!

Colleen is a true artist By motherartists - Jul 29, 2010 Colleen has studied the craft and art of henna for many years now. She applies the same energy and passion toward applying henna as she does with her reiki. How amazing to get henna applied by her! She values wholeness and a natural way of life as well as spirituality and this all comes out when she applies henna! She makes her own paste using the finest ingredients and essential oils...Whether it be a henna maternity sitting (mendhi on baby belly), a wedding party, or on your child (MY BOYS LOVE HENNA by Colleen!!!!)....there is a special quality and pure beauty that emerges that is a beautiful experience/process and a beautiful result...She's the best at what she does. I highly recommend Henna by Colleen - truly talented artist! 

By Jill Carillo: Colleen did a henna belly for me during my second pregnancy, and I simply can't wait to get another one for my current pregnancy! She also did a Dia de los Muertos style face painting for me, in honor of my dad's passing (which I believe can be seen on her site). Her talent is simply amazing, especially considering that a lot of her work is done freehand. I can't recommend her highly enough!
